TASTE

Rich and complex, offering a captivating array of dark fruit aromas. Dark cherry, blackcurrant, and blackberry create a bold, fruity foundation, while hints of sawdust oak add a touch of complexity. Subtle notes of black olive lend an earthy, savoury depth to the profile and a trace of liquorice introduces a slightly sweet, spicy element, rounding out the wine’s aromatic character.

This dry grown, hand harvest wine is a whole bunch of complexity. Its fresh and textured and has a jubey, plum, dark cherry, blackberry, pepper and spice taste.

Riesling originates from Germany and some believe it to be the worlds finest white grape variety – we’ll leave it to you to decide !

Delicious with foods that have “green” flavours, maybe a snapper dish with lime, jalapeño and tomatillo. The vibrant acidity and minerality can also be terrific with rich dishes flavoured with a squeeze of lime, like beef curry.

The wine was made as a showcase to show the true characteristics of Shiraz as it grows in the Clare Valley. Tilt a glass to your nose and catch the aromas of its spicy intensity. Taste the berry and spice balanced with the complexity of oak.

Coming from 100 plus year old vines this delicious Shiraz is named after the first Polish Settler of the property Andreas Wayman who planted the vines in the early 1900’s.

Regular plunging of the skins and long cool fermentation has developed a wine with wonderful flavour, depth and concentration.

If you like a Chardonnay or Pinot Gris then try this for something in between. Go on give it a go !

Subtle and zesty lemon floral hints are typical of this vineyard and lend to a wonderful evolution of rich and complex toasty and honeyed characters.

Scallops (probably my number one choice), prawns, salmon. Fish or chicken in a creamy sauce.

The ideal partner to many meals. Lock it in your cellar for a few years (not the food though) to let it develop. YUM!!!
